DAP is also used as a yeast nutrient in winemaking and brewing mead, as an additive in some brands of cigarettes purportedly as a nicotine enhancer, to prevent afterglow in matches, in purifying sugar, as a Flux for soldering tin, copper, zinc and brass, and to control precipitation of alkali-soluble and acid-insoluble colloidal dyes on wool.

I have been homebrewing my own beer/wine for over 8 years. I use this mainly for the yeasties for wine. They love this stuff. Don't put to much in, follow the instructions on the bag. Never have a stuck formentatik. When using and ferments all the way through.

Big chunks. Good or bad? I think it's good quality however it requires a little more work to separate and crush in order to properly mix it.
