When I swapped in a 460 into my 1973 Ford F100 I removed the hvac box. Years later every summer I kick myself for not leaving the fan, at least to just be a vent. Eventually I installed a seven inch DC fan over the air intake opening to pull air into the cab for some sort of relief. I removed the wiring and ran this controller to the fan and having some fan adjustment is much better than just having all or nothing fan air.

I connected everything as illustrated powered on and after running motor for 3mins at 50% controller was getting warm. Placed a thermostat and got up to 109deg.It’s nice for smaller applications 10amps max

Unit get really hot, so hot you cannot handle it. Couldn't use it for its intended purpose due to the heat.
