I don't use the original case as I had purchased a carrying case for all my Pocket 3 accessories. This little cover easily attaches to the original case and now fully covers the Pocket 3. Since I don't always like to bring my carrying case for travel due to its bulkiness, I now can use the original case with this cover attachment and easily protect my Pocket 3 and can bring it alone in a small bag or backpack. Definitely get this cover!

I believe this is for a certain kind of customer. Despite half of the camera being exposed I actually like the original case the DJI pocket 3 comes with. I feel like it’s sturdy and well-made, just incomplete. I also like that the original case has features that keep filters and a mic attached to the case as well. That is what attracted me to this attachment. It allows me to still use the original case and it also comes with addition filter holders as well. I understand that it’s cheaper to buy a completely new case and then you’ll have two cases over one slightly expensive attachment. I think that will work for many users of the DJI pocket 3. I just honestly wanted one case that could fit my extra things. The other 3rd party cases I saw did not have this storage feature. It does take away the microphone storage but I don’t have the DJI mic so it personally doesn’t affect my usage. It’s not a perfect offering but for my needs it works very well.

I have been appreciating this little case addition. It is much more protective (protects both sides of camera) than the one you get with the Pocket 3 from DJI. It is easy to attach. I feel much more comfortable stashing my camera in my pocket or leaving it on a table. I have also tried a different aftermarket case that is not an addition to the original but a whole case. It has two sided protection just not completely covering the base of the camera. I think they both have their uses. This one seems better if you are biking or camping as it has more coverage that make up for the extra length you have to maneuver.

I use my DJI pocket 3 for quick interviews and carry it in a sling. The cover that comes with the Pocket 3 leaves on side open to damage, scratching and stuff hitting the gimble side.I use a hand-held handle with the Mic 2 that travels next to the Pocket 3. I was always fearing that it would hit the gimble and camera.This is and excellent option to fully protect the Pocket 3 while having the extended battery attached.Excellent product!

I’m so glad that I found this cover for my Pocket 3 camera! I was initially looking for a pouch to put my camera in and came across this cover. It was easy to install to the casing. Very happy with the design and feel comfortable putting my camera in my purse.
