I was worried after I purchased it when I saw you could randomly get one of two possible decks. I kind of figured the Mewtwo one was more popular, and by random, they meant they rarely or occasionally sent out the Mewtwo one, but mostly melmetal (so they could sell solely the Mewtwo ones at a higher price possibly). All that said, I got the Mewtwo one that I originally wanted to buy for my kid, and I am glad :) Thanks!This is a premade deck that is ready to play the game with. If you're curious what the exact cards are that come in the deck, I'll post it above. Sorry it's kinda blurry, but you can still get the gist.

This seller should post a pic of the other deck you would get without mewtwo. Such a scam selling it the way you are. Other card they use is complete garbage and looks like it has been played with.

My nephews love Pokemon cards. The older one wanted to play the game, but his brother did not want to play. While I played the game with the older one the younger laid his cards out on the floor and talked about which cards he already owned and which ones were new to him and what he knew about the characters from the cartoons. Good purchase.

This is a PRECONSTRUCTED DECK and will include many duplicates as it is ready-to-play right out of the box. EVERY POKEMON DECK will have around 18 of those "energy" cards, as they are required to make the deck function. If you are looking to gamble and open a variety of RANDOM cards, buy BOOSTER PACKS, not a preconstructed deck. Hope this helps someone because I noticed a lot of reviews where people don't seem to know what they're buying.

I was just starting with Pokémon when I bought this, and found it great. However a few months down the line realise it’s not up to scratch if playing Pokémon TCG competitively, as you need the latest cards. But for a beginner, or a card collector, it’s a great start.
