I'm writing this review after using the Polder ironing board cover for 5-6 months. Because I sew and quilt a lot, my ironing board is used a lot--much more than most other people iron. At this point, the ironing board remains clean looking (even with steam ironing), and there is no sign of wear. The cover is wide enough to fit my ironing board (most covers are too narrow), and easy to install. This is a great product.

Good value and only complaint is the clothes don't slide easily because it's not silicone fabric.

This is a first impression review. I have not had the product long enough to comment on durability, stain resistance, etc. The thickness and fit for our bullnose style ironing board is perfect. We had purchased a new ironing board originally buy just couldn't find one as sturdy and heavy duty as our current one so we replaced the cover and feet and sent took the new one back. Very pleased with this product.

Could not find this cover for my ironing board in stores and happy to find it at Amazon. Good job Amazon! I opted for the plain cover, which is boring and next time will get one more colorful. The cover is a bit too large for the board and there isn't an adjustment string. My concern is that eventually the elastic will stretch out, making this an even looser fit. So although this is the model that is supposed to fit with the size of my Polder board, it is not a good fit.

I’ve been looking for a replacement cover since BB&Beyond went out if business!!So happy I bought 2.This is a specific product for a polder blunt nose long ironing board. It does have an adjustment strap to tighten but is made for 51â€

Looked all over for an ironing board cover to fit my wonderful 20+-year-old heavy Seymour ironing board, which has a stand to hold the hot iron at the wide end, and a blunt nose. This one is perfect - fits well, stretched well, good padding - and at a great price. My board is only 49" long (without the iron stand) but I bought the 51" to ensure plenty of room to fit properly and it worked very well, fits like a dream. High quality construction, especially compared to the ones I have examined at retail stores.

It’s like a very basic polyester that probably costs a few dollars to make !!!!!!!
