I purchased this product because my 5 year old daughter absolutely loves sensory play activities. I figured we could play around with Polydoh to create fun things together and I was excited about the variety of colors this product offers.Once the package arrived we got right to creating. Due to the fact that you have to boil water for the beads to melt, you need to make sure that you keep your child away from the stove. We dropped the polydoh in a bowl and added the color pellets to create a custom color for our project. After about one minute the polydoh was soft enough to mold into the desired shape. Although a bit hot at first, after about 20 seconds my daughter was able to easily touch it and shape it.The beads molded exactly as they were mentioned to do, it was easy to shape and reheat if we needed to attach various pieces or add some detail to the project. When working with Polydoh, the cool thing is that even if you or your child messes up, you can just drop the piece back into hot water and try molding again. We both found this to be so much fun and it allowed us to get our creative juices flowing. As a practical person that I am, I went for functional projects, ultimately making a phone charging station, iphone stand and some other little useful projects. My daughter on the other hand loved making bracelets, necklaces and rings for our collection of Barbie dolls. When it comes to this product you can get as creative as your imagination, and Polydoh offers endless possibilities.Things to keep in mind when using Polydoh:• It does take some time to get the colors melted and mixed in.• when you have to reuse it, it takes a little longer for the water to melt the plastic.

I bought this friendly plastic because, one it came with pellets to help you change the color so you don't have to use food coloring and that can be a mess. Secondly because I wanted to make teeth, which I saw on YouTube videos; and third I have a few projects around the house that I can't fix with super glue but you know some moldable plastic will do. This stuff is amazing, quick, easy to use, versatile, durables; all as long as you used it correctly. Satisfied. Ready for more products ahead.

This is very interesting material. I bought it to fix flaw in our sink and initially it seemed like it would work well. However, I wanted to shape it with a Dremel and when heated, it just melts instead of smoothing out which is what I needed it to do. Stands to reason it would behave this way because it is heat moldable.I think it would be a very good item to use as long as one understands that it is pliable when hot and firm when cooled. It is really fun to play with!

I got these to make new zipper pulls. The first one I made was for a zipper pull on a suitcase. The suitcase is old so I figured it was a good test. I didn’t use any of the colors, just the standard beads. At first, I tried to wrap the molten plastic around the large paper clip that was on the zipper I had been using (for years!) But it was way too big and sloppy. I cut the paper clip and just twisted the ends and made a ball out of the plastic and shaped it. It dried white and looks great. It’s sturdy and works way better than the paper clip.Next I made black zipper pulls for a backpack. For some reason, adding the color made it much harder to work with. I think the color beads have a higher melting temperature. I had to rework that zipper pull 4 times and it still looks wonky. Finally, the big test: new zipper pull on a Kate spade handbag. Again, the black was hard to work in and it got almost cool by the time I had kneaded the color together. So I dropped it back into hot water to soften and went to work quickly to make the zipper pull. Turned out better than the second bag I repaired but still not that great. I did it over a few times and am finally happy with it.Ironic that the first test piece I made with no color turned out the best.

I love the color options that come in this kit. This plastic is super useful. I make all sorts of stuff with it. Plus if i do not contaminate the plastic it is reusable.

I was surprised how durable the plastic is after it's been melted and set. To test it, I made a flat 'pancake' and let it dry. Once it was completely hardened, I tried with all my hand-strength to break it; I even took a pair of heavy shears to it and it did not break. The plastic is easy to work with, melts quickly in boiled water, and isn't too hot to handle. It sticks to the inside of whatever container you melt in, but after it's hardened you can very easily peel it back off. Very happy with this purchase, will definitely buy again.

Amazing! This plastic is great for arts & crafts, general repair and much more. (Still finding uses!)Originally purchased this product to make fishing gear, but found many many uses online. Still going to use for fishing gear, but I have also fixed a $100 part on my truck! The plastic is very easy to work with. All you have to do is place in boiling water until the beads become clear. Scoop out with a fork and start to shape! The plastic is soft enough for easily sanding and carving with carving tools or a knife. Yet very hard and withstands some abuse. The cool part is that if the project breaks or you mess up, simply place the pieces back in the water and start again or make something else! No wasting material or needing to go buy more material. This supplier gives plenty of coloring pellets to have each project vibrantly colored to your liking.Pest part of all is that this product is biodegradable and non-toxic! Arts & crafts at ease knowing that the piece or toy you make goes into the yard and will degrade and isn't harmful.Experience the pride of making and using something with your own hands and your kids hands.

The kids really enjoyed trying to shape things and mixing colours. We have a soft silicone mold that we used and some ice making shapes. Worked out well!

It seemed pricey for a bag of tiny plastic pellets but they're good to have on hand, easy to use and can pay for them selves with just a few repairs. I've already repaired the frames on three pairs of glasses but so far, have only used the neutral colored beads.

Nice! When this stuff hardens....it hardens!Very practical material I use it to fill gaps when a bolt surrounding is loose, it put some of this stuff in the hole or Gap and it avoids the bolt from moving around side to side.....sort of a spacer.....great! Thanks for being on the public market!

This stuff is awesome. I initially used it to repair a broken cord in my car that holds up the cargo cover. Looks ugly, first job, but works. Saved a ton of money. My boy LOVES it, says it should get 10 out of 5 stars. He’s pounded decently hard with his rock/stick tool and it’s held fast. Only limited by your imagination.
