Nice sturdy chalk holder for our game room! I'd advise following the instructions while screwing the pieces together or else you'll have to undo it and try again when you assemble it upside down. Ha ha! After properly following instructions I found it to be sturdy and a nice addition to the pool table area. Plenty big enough to hold the big chalk cone and its nice that it doubles as a place you can rest your standing sticks while playing. There's also a handy rack holder on the bottom. You could use it for other things too if you already have a rack holder or not at all if you don't want to. We chose the wood holder and the color of the wood is a good traditional oak that fits harmoniously in with the pool table surrounds and base.

I received it well protected, so the finish looked good and the pieces weren't rubbing together in the box. It will look good in my home bar. It does have a couple fixable flaws.1.. The peg hole that holds the ball rack is a little large. The peg will need to be glued in with a flat shim on the bottom side to make the peg point up so the rack doesn't slide off.2.. The assembly holes in the back are a little off , so be careful putting it together.
