The pole is of good quality, made entirely of aluminum, with heavy plastic joints. The pole has a total length of 9 feet and consists of 8 1/2 foot telescopic poles and 3 1/2 foot extension poles. There is a 7-foot deep swimming pool, and I prefer a 9-foot high pole. If necessary, one or two additional extensions may be added to this pole. For me, the best part is the reliable connection provided by the threaded sliding joint, which can achieve long-lasting and sturdy elongation. The extension part that comes with the telescopic component only has one push in connector, while I expect to have two, but the button is made of metal instead of plastic. After fully extending, the bending of the rod is minimal. The pole can be folded to only 39 inches for easy storage. I plan to buy an adapter with external threads to the button handle and use this pole to draw and shovel snow.
