How to Determine the Right Replacement Cartridge for Your Pool or Spa?

Unsure of the part number? Selecting the appropriate cartridge can be achieved by assessing your current one. Follow these steps:
- Gauge the cartridge's external diameter, ensuring accuracy to within +/- 1/16 inch.
- Measure the cartridge's length from one end cap to the other, excluding any protruding handles or extensions, to within +/- 1/16 inch.
- Determine the top and bottom type. If they're open, measure the inner diameter of the opening to within +/- 1/16 inch. For closed end caps, jot down distinct features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone").
- Note down the filter's manufacturer and model number where the new cartridge will be placed.
- Check if there's a central core (like a PVC pipe) present.

Our back yard has many beautiful trees that we love for the shade, but they shed all kinds of things into the pool a good part of the year, especially winter. These filters do a great job of keeping our water clean. We clean the filters often because of our trees and they are easy to clean with a hose sprayer. The price is very reasonable compared to our local pool supply, although we buy all our other pool supplies locally because we want to support them so they stay in business.

Couldn't find the brand I used to buy, so gave these a try. Cross-referenced to the originals and they fit exactly. Time will tell, but the pool looked much cleaner after just one day of use. Guess my old filters weren't as clean as they appeared.

Update: Received replacement from seller, new carteidge arrived and water is back to normal, hope previous filter was an isolated incident. But glad seller was able to rectify and make amends to fix issue.Received cartridges on March 2nd of this year; worked great at first but now, barely 3 months later, I start noticing poor filtration and when my pool cleaning company serviced the filter, they were all cracked. It looks worse than the previous cartridges I replaced after 2 years. Hope this is a manufacturer defect. Also, warranty is 6 months, so let's see if the company honors that. Has anyone reached them in past for warranty?

I clean and brush the pool every morning, also we don't have trees near our pool we are in the Sonoran desert. It's not as if lots of debris is falling in the pool and we neglect to maintain it properly.We've had to clean these filters almost every week after the first month. Contacted seller they gave us the run around. Clean filters with acid they said. Video was not specific, poor audio and no captions. I had to figure out what they were saying by researching. Said they have an engineer to consult, but It doesn't seem to me an engineer would use that poor video for a reference. There were no instructions providing chemicals, amounts, etc. Now after all this time we're just past the 6 month refund guarantee and they're ghosting us.Update 3/2023Well we ordered Pent air filters back in November and they are awesome. We've only needed to remove and clean them once recently for general care and maintenance. I highly recommend not using these trilobed filters unless you want to put a lot of wear and tear on your pump and enjoy removing these filters and cleaning them EVERY WEEK.Also the seller will give a run around even though they tell you they stand by their product. They don't. A big waste of our time and energy.

Looks like Toread pool filters but just cost more. Fit the same as Toread filters. Not a replacement for a pentair 520 pool filter. Poor fitting! Loose and does not filter!!!!!! So aggravated! 3rd set of filter from Amazon that needs to return because of loose fit and therefore Does Not Filter the pool water!!!!
