For the money this is an extremely useful and nice mic. There's a few expectations that need to be set, first that the frequency range it's picking up is limited. So for the voice or my guitar it's pretty crisp and clear and that translates well out of phone speakers. If I try to pick up bass frequencies it doesn't do very well. Second, the power it needs is easily provided by a phone or computer but it can't be easily powered through an interface or mixer. Phantom power will blow it up and no power will be completely silent.That being said, it's a night and day difference compared to any phones internal mic. It's perfectly acceptable quality even for a singer songwriting posting simple videos. It's not hifi. But it's not lofi either and it doesn't have any weird buzziness or ground noises or anything. For $10 it's a must have for anyone who ever uses their phone to capture audio.For a songwriter I really recommend it because if you want to get a good sound without one you need to get very close to your phone when recording. With this I clip it to my shirt and it captures both my guitar and voice at a nice level and I can actually sit back from the camera and relax a bit.

Straight to the Point, if you are looking for a great Mic for a Great Price totally get this.It is way cheaper than most mics and sounds great for the price point, I used/ texted it on my phone and camera, both sound great,It does have a few downsides the little mic cover is hard to take off a little and put on but just a minor inconvenience, and another thing is the other plug in thing you plug into the aux or Jack, the glue came loose and it slides not off completely but it slides and I just got it today,I plan to use this mic for my phone and camera I will update, haven’t texted outside in wind will see how it sounds under certain circumstances,But to sum it up I would totally Recommend this mic it’s if cheap but high quality, would of got a 5 but the glue messed it up check out the pics and video

It works as intended, I was trying to use this microphone for a motovlog setup for my helmet. I felt the cable was was too long, I adjusted the gain volume and notice the mic will not work if it goes below -14 gain and -13 gain was fine until I hit the road. It was extremely loud and choppy but that was to be expected when 80mph winds are hitting your face. I would not recommend this for Motovlogging but will work just fine in any other scenario. I would buy again if it were for another reason.

El Micrófono Lavalier PV 510, ha sido una excelente compra para mi, reproduce un sonido espectacular, la extensión de su cable es mucho mayor a la de otros. Su empaque es práctico, trae una funda negra de terciopelo, repuesto de cabezales. El clip para colgarlo es robusto, de metal y muy estable. En mi celular Xiaomi Mi A2 funcionó a la perfección. Lo pedà un viernes y me llegó mucho antes, ósea el lunes. Excelente vendedor y producto.

I received the product in time and good packaging. The product does not work with Android phone as mentioned. I tried with 3 phones. It might work with iPhone. Maybe it works with splitter or another jack.
