It works and does exactly what you want it to. The holes also help to reduce the amount if kernels from getting into the popcorn buckets.Only real downside is that the materials are somewhat cheap and I could imagine the weld from the handle breaking at something in the future. However, I am pleased that the handle had a metal threaded nut inside of it so it won't break or back off as easily if it were just plastic threaded to the metal.Definitely would buy again

I have only used this six times. The holes in the scoop does help kernels fall through. However, not all of them. The scoop is pretty large and that may hinder you a little if your machine space is too small. I used in the "Nostalgia Popcorn Maker Machine - Professional Cart With 8 Oz Kettle Makes Up to 32 Cups " The size is on the big size for that popcorn maker, because of the kettle being to close to the bottom. The curved edges also make it hard to get popcorn out of the corners. All that said, I am happy with the scoop. It does a good job getting popcorn into the bowls.

This product makes scooping popcorn easy especially you don’t want kernels in your popcorn. The handle however is flimsy and I worry will loosen too much. The size is bigger than expected. I considered returning the item but after looking at similar products they have similar problems. Overall if you are okay with a commercial size popcorn scoop and you are okay semi loose handle this product may be for you, but it is very similar to other products offered. If I were to purchase another I am going to look for a cheaper option, as there is nothing that would set this product apart from others.

I ordered this scoop after I accidentally broke the handle off the one that came with my sister's popcorn machine... Oops. This one is much better though, as it is wider and works great for leaving behind the unpopped kernals.
