I bought this for a dear friend who likes tea by the cup (I use a vacuum carafe). She loves it. It looks like fine Polish or Italian painted earthware, but is more delicate than pottery. It's similar to everyday plates rather than delicate china; less thick than a mug.Pieces fit well together, it's pretty, and the price was great. Only issue is that it comes in an unattractive packing box, so I had to wrap the pieces to put in a gift bag. I bought something similar on Amazon with an inspirational phrase for another person, and that came in a really cute decorative box for storage especially at work (and made a prettier gift).I'd recommend the seller put this in a decorative box and charge $10 more. Otherwise, a lovely, thoughtful gift.

I love this little all-in-one teapot. A very cozy and quaint way for me to wind down. The teapot holds just enough for two teacups of tea- the perfect amount. I'm very pleased with the appearance and quality. It is quite stout for looking so delicate.

I'm really pleased with my little set. I wanted something that didn't have a floral pattern and this fit the billThe set is well made and the colors are rich and well printed. I couldn't find any flaws in the pattern.This little set ticked all the boxes and it is another fine addition to my collection

This is such a pretty set, I'm going to keep it. I had ordered it for my husband, but when it arrived, I saw that it was smaller than the "mug-style" set I was replacing. The only issue is the top has a crooked blue circle. Otherwise, I would give it five stars. I thought I might send this back, but it's so pretty, I'm going to keep it for myself. The packaging was very secure; in fact, three different boxes. The manufacturer's box was not secure enough for mailing, so that was padded inside a larger box, which was then placed inside an Amazon branded box. So all arrived well-packed. If you are a one-cup tea-sipper, this is a good size for you. You can always make a second cup and let it brew again. It would also be a lovely display item in a curio case. I'm going to ask for a new top and see if they have one. Note: says DO NOT MICROWAVE. But you can wash in the dishwasher. Enjoy!
