I used this foam cutter to cut 3" dense foam. So, last time we had to cut foam, my husband wanted to use a battery and some wire and I did not like that at all. This device is much safer, it heats up without making the handle hit, it cut my foam seamlessly and was easy to use. I will never use a "hot wire" again

Overall I really liked this hot knife, it worked really well for what I needed it for...until it didn't. I almost exclusively used the j hook attachment, after 2 weeks it started to get really loose and would swivel while trying to cut pockets out of foam which sucked.Yesterday I went to use it and the j hook refused to heat up. Out of curiosity I opened up the plastic casing on the attachment figuring I could fix it myself. One of the wires that go into the plugs had broken and would no longer complete the circuit.I'm really disappointed with the fact that there isn't an option to get replacement attachments now that I know that eventually the other ones will fail.

Got the tool and it is easy to use and charge. It did what I needed it to do, but not for very long and definitely not long enough to get the job done. This would be fine for small projects, but for anything big, don't go cordless. I'm giving four stars because it does work, it does do what it says, but be aware that a full charge only lasts for a couple minutes.

I used this set to carve styrofoam blocks and foundation pieces for my Harry Potter village. The wires get gummy very quickly, even though I used steel wool to clean them after every use. The u-shaped wire quit working after a month of use.

This product does not heat up to cut a straight line, jagged edges, sure why not. Battery life, nonexistent. Used twice, can't try thrice.

Lo he comprado recientemente, cumple su función, tienes que tener tacto a la hora de usarlo, el hecho de tener conector tipo c es una ventaja para cargarlo y que no tenga cable también, satisfecho con la compra lo recomiendo al 100%
