One week after purchasing 7 of these units, they started to break down. One by one they stopped scanning any type of bill. Shipping to Tel Aviv costs more than double what it costs just to replace the product, so the warranty is effectively useless. After two months, all 7 have stopped working. Very disappointed.

The shipping was fast & got it the next day. Not sure if my unit is defective, it does not verify $100 bill (2006 series.) The bill is 100% real . I ran it through a counting machine with anti-counterfeit features similar to the one banks are using. It is confirmed real. But for odd some reasons, b$ure doesn’t work on that (2006 series) $100 bills I tried.

3-Year Updated Review:Still working great. I sell a lot of things via apps and social platforms to strangers. I only accept cash in person and ask them for large bills. I tell them I’ll check the cash. At times it’s awkward but I explain why if asked (I was given counterfeit in the past).I recently sold something for almost $2K and this B$ure handled it well.REMEMBER that for older $100 bills, you have to scan differently. This comes with a chart to show you how. Otherwise you’ll think it doesn’t work when it does.Conclusion after 3 years - I’ve considered other options but don’t see any handheld ones in its class. This continuously works great for my needs and it’s my absolute go-to for selling personal items.Original Review:This works with larger bills, so I had to ask a buyer to bring large bills to avoid scanning $400 in 20s. With that in mind, I had to bring a counterfeit pen as a backup and to check smaller bills.I suggest practicing and knowing where to scan in advance as different bills have different watermarks/scan areas. It includes a guide. I embarrassingly scanned wrong (nerves). Once I got it right, it scanned $100 bills perfectly.One dislike - The batteries are hard to remove. I wish it came with a pull ribbon. I had to use a fork.I don't sell big money items enough to justify this, but I like it so much that I removed the batteries and set it aside to have whenever I do need it again instead of returning it.

As real money authentication works great, you still have to look for other visible and translucent and tactile tests to be 100% sure that it is not a reprinted washed bill.It works with $10 bills and up.For the money is a bit expensive, but justified for any business with a cash register.
