This is what I have been looking for! A pocket sized radio that doesn’t stretch out your pocket! Very convenient size with excellent sound. Just got it, so no clue as to battery life. Looking forward to having this as part of my EDC (Every Day Carry) gear.

I bought this after my husband's old battery powered radio finally died after 25 years. I bought this because it is easy to operate and has simple control mechanisms. My husband is legally blind but can see the large digital display and can easily use the volume and channel changers. My only complaint - and it's my husband's not mine - is that he feels the sound is tinny. He only listens to baseball games on it, so it's not a big issue. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a higher quality radio and there doesn't seem to be any middle ground between inexpensive (which this is) and very expensive radios with what would be, I'm sure, better quality sound.

This is probably the best digital display DSP radio powered by 2 AAA batteries. The main rationale for this aspect is I use the weakest AM signal I can find to judge the signal capture ability of a radio, (especially DSP) as audio production determines how much enjoyment one can receive while listening to a station AM or FM, most DSP radios have a lot of noise/EMI from either poor filtering of digital display feedback or even the timed delay circuit used to activate the backlight LED for a specified period of "delay" for the display.I've had to donate quite a few DSP radios as any unit unable to meet the most basic parameters gets donated, now granted, my requirements are much higher than someone who listens to clear channel AM stations and almost any DSP radio can "suffice" for most clear channel AM station listening, granted, I don't spend a lot of time listening to any flame-thrower stations as I don't require constant reinforcement of a particular political bias to get through each day.Since I've discovered that it's usually the weak, low power stations that have the most critical voices behind the microphone, having low noise in my DSP reception audio is critical for my listening enjoyment.Oh, and like most DSP radios, it does fine on FM as well, just make sure you use quality AAA batteries if you wish to avoid battery leakage damage if you tend to leave batteries inside the radio even if you don't listen to it frequently. The only flaw, (albeit a rather minor one) is the lack of a sleep timer as there is an on/off switch and that's it.Nice big display too, good for people with a lot of "tree rings" whose eyesight isn't what it once was when we were all just "saplings".

Happy with size, sound quality and solid feel. The volume and tuning dials are a little easily moved.

Works good except for batteries only lasted like 2 days on 3-4 hours a day. It’s consuming my batteries very quickly.

When I am outside working I use the radio not for music but listening to news or programs, small and convenient

It is the tiniest AM/FM radio I was able to find. Given the dimensions, the sound quality from the loudspeaker is acceptable.

The radio can only work on batteries and uses them up very quickly. Otherwise it is OK
