This bag is sturdy, has an interior mesh restraint system, and holes in the side to carry the pot by it's handles. The last two bags I bought fell apart because the handles on the bag couldn't cope with the weight of a full crockpot. haven't used it to transport hot foods so I can't speak for it's insulation effectiveness, bur everything else is great so far!

I would have given it 5 stars but we had to return the first one because it had mold. The second one is fine and works well. It's made for multiple sized slow cookers. We bought a 4 qt. one so even with the net inside, it slides a bit. The top is not a problem as it pretty well anchors with the net to keep it on and tight. The handles work well although when the slow cooker is filled, it's a bit heavy for someone with arthritis. Still, I'm glad we have it and would suggest it to other family members.

I was very pleased with the quality of the bag and the sturdy handles. Only reason I gave a 4 star was it real needs a solid bottom. But it will still work great on large or smaller crockpots.
