Reluctant to purchase but was at my wits end to remove hot wax that had dripped 4 ft down my textured wall! Didn't find till we removed a huge outdated computer desk from our spare room, we had had a scentsy on the top years ago not realizing it was dripping hot wax down the wall.Because the walls are textured we couldn't easily scrape off, re texture to blend so voila! This paint cover up came along! Now we'll just paint the wall to cover and blend, we're happy!

I need to cover up some stains on my ceiling and this was such a great easy product to use. At first it was a little messy but once you get the hang of it the paint just glides on so easy and dries in a very short amount of time. I did one coat let it dry and did a second coat the next day and all my stains are officially covered up.

I was really curious to see how well this set up worked.I've painted hundreds of apartments so know how to do it fast, cleanly and with no painting out of bounds (like on adjacent woodwork.)Roller are problematic - they cover lots of area fast, but get roller spray EVERYWHERE, and so require taping of all nearby surfaces wanting paint. This kit seems to be the worst of several worlds? So I was really sckeptical, but also eager to test it.I had a few 2x4 stud end walls in need of touch up, so I was tempted to think:"Easy Peasy, Roll on, Roll off!"Well...not so fast. After spackling the dinged corners and edges, and taping off the areas I did not want paint to splatter on, I got to work.A) It DOES work. But not that well. The roller cardboard has a seam in it, which causes the roller to roll-bump-roll-bump, leaving uneven coverage, and spoiling any hope of a quick 'one roll' covering. The roller, in spite of the 'shield' does spatter about as much as a regular (small) roller, so no real savings there. The roller diameter, oddly, is big enough it's hard to get into even minor dips and bends in the dry wall - smaller diameter mini-rollers do that much better.B)The 'scraper' part of the roller guide does help, but not That much - it basically assures the overage mostly ends up on place. If its where you place your hands (or just a finger)...clean up on hand #2!C)Cleanup - assuming you bother - requires removin the roller from the holder to get at the squeeze out hole and surrounding area in side, and of course rinsing for days to get the roller clean.(The idea of course, is for it to be single use and toss.)D. The paint is thinner than most interior house paint, but it does dry faster - meaning you WILL have to run two coats at least...but at least you dont have to wait a day.But really, for this kind of money, you can get a small pint or quart of paint, and mini-roller AND/OR a small paint bush, for half that, and have plenty left over for the next job.As an 'instant fix' magic paint roller? - NO.If you don't care about paint spray, or having clean edges or corners, and just want to slap a coat on something, I suppose this might make sense, but it strikes me as being actually MORE work than cracking open a small tin of paint and grabbing a small brush (which will NOT fling paint everywhere, thus needing taping). For my use, I'll keep, and use the remaining paint - with a small brush - as fast touch up, but will not be re-using the 'magic' roller.I'm afraid this is another sort of 'as seen on TV" item - looks good on TV, paper and videos, but will only really work in certain circumstances, like where theres no floor or adjacent edges to sprinkle paint on, or where the drywall /surface is absolutely flat (mine had very small curves to them, so had to re-cover several times to get at the 'inner' curved section).

I can't believe no one thought of this sooner. These little things are a great idea and a time and mess saver. Simply shake the paint dispenses from the bottle into the roller and your ready to cover black marks or cover a repair to drywall. Thankfully my walls and woodwork are all white, Within just a few minutes I was able to go around my apartment and cover quite a few black marks with this one bottle. The paint covered well and looks great. The great thing is no mess, cleaning rollers or brushes, pans, etc.

I ordered this portable wall paint roller kit for an upcoming project. I am preparing to sand, prime, apply chalk paint, wax and apply stencil and wallpaper to my grandmother's 1970s style china cabinet. I thought this paint roller kit from NHYZBXY would be very usable during the priming portion of the project. After using it for this project I will fill it with wall paint colors to match existing paint and use it to easily touch up marks and scuffs as needed. This roller kit is a great idea for small projects like painting furniture, and I hope to use it on several others I have in the works.

This is an all-in-one paint and applicator. If you have a large job such as repainting a small surface (front of kitchen counter, for example) or painting a small piece of furniture, it is ideal. Since the roller is going to deteriorate after each use, it's not practical for keeping around for touch-ups. Also, it is more of a flat tone, not a true satin or gloss, from what I can tell. I tried it on my interior doors and felt it was too flat for those. It's a clever design, however. When you squeeze it, it will first pool in one area of the roller. I suggest using a small paint tray to smooth it slightly before applying to the wall. Others might be more talented than I am in applying, so you might be able to apply it directly to the surface without issue. As long as you keep it upright, it doesn't drip badly. That does make it tricky for reaching the very bottom of a door, for example. You will probably need to use a drop cloth there or use a paintbrush in those areas. I also don't recommend for small surfaces near the floor, such as baseboards. It would be awkward and probably not come out great for that. I would use it for things such as a small end table, a large flat surface such as a chair rail or a section of wainscoat. Handy device, complete with paint!
