Cute little cat-toy. I thought at first it might be too small, but it's just fine. I got 2 different ones to amuse the kitties, and 2 of my 4 took to both instantly. The "butterfly" jiggles the entire time it's in motion, and goes in one direction, pauses, then reverses. Also has 3 speeds. After a while of inactivity (getting batted around) it goes to sleep. Long enough snoozing, and it turns itself off to save batteries. It works fine with NiMH cells (1.2V vs 1.5V alkaleaks), so I don't have to worry about it getting ruined by leaky batteries.Only "con" is that the battery compartment needs to be screwed in and you can't lose the teeny screwdriver. The other toy has a similar screw, so there must be a reason to screw-shut vs snap-in. Oh, well.Anyway, they love it, so if they're happy, then I'm happy.

The cat distribution system decided I needed a tiny terror to nip my toes and chomp my fingers. Of course I enthusiastically agreed, before realizing that I did, in fact, prefer sleeping over perpetually defending my delicate skin. The dog is also befuddled at the constant attacks on his overly fluffy self. We tried all manners of gentle play and redirection but kitten chooses violence every time. Despairing, I looked on-line. This toy appears too easy. Too inexpensive. Too much entertainment to believe. But hold on, fellow chewed-upon pet servants, it follows through with every claim. Not only did it draw kitten into an hour of blissful predatory play, but it timed out as promised and turned back on when kitty aggression restarted. It’s been 24 hours and it still doesn’t quit, hide in the bathroom, or wear long sleeves to protect itself like I do. Currently, Kitten is contentedly staring out the window, without biting me, as she contemplates her next plan of attack on that twerking butterfly or its balls. She hasn’t been this sweet since she tricked me into taking her home. I need one for every room, just in case her intrusive thoughts return.

Look like a cute toy, and I thought batteries would be a nice change, unfortunately, my cat absolutely loved it and went crazy. But he did demolish it in about 30 minutes. It could have been made a little sturdier. I think batteries did not have a chance to wear out

The product itself works fine, my kitten just wasn't interested in it. It honestly kind of scares her when it's on (it might be too loud). It has two settings, fast and super fast, lol. I do wish that it was more sporadic in it's movements and had a slower option, I think my kitten would have been more interested if it did.My older cats aren't interested in it but I have found that my kitten will sometimes play with it if it's just off. She will swat at the butterfly and ribbons. I also put her favorite toys in the ring and she will play around it.For the price though, it was worth the try. Wasn't for my cats but still a good product. It is a lot smaller than you would think though.
