Thank you works well, easy to clean, nice upgrade from my older model. This is an absolute necessary kitchen utensil for those cooking sweet potato and pumpkin pies. It helped make the pies smooth and worth a prize. Thanks for quick shipment.

Squeezed cooked potatoes through the ricer easily -- and they were immediately ready for stirred-in ingredients. Very easy and effective. Also, clean-up was a breeze.

This was priced on the lower end so I was a little nervous it wouldn’t last long but I have used it for a huge Thanksgiving with 14 potatoes and it stood strong! Seems sturdy. Good price and quality. Would recommend.

I have used for potato and cauliflower ricing works easily and holds alot,my hands are not as flexible as they were but was easy to use so that's a plus and a rinse with my sprayer on my sink to remove left over pieces was quick and easy before washing and thoroughly drying.

The potato ricer has been used in my families for over a century. I love the way it helps make potato's smoooooth and creamy, depending on how much milk and butter you use. It's great to use when you have gravy !!

I was having problems with whipping potatoes too much when making mashed potatoes. This ricer works perfect and cuts down the stress of making pasty potatoes. Very sturdy and cleans up well

I had wanted one of these for a while so I was really pleased to get the opportunity to test this out. It's really easy to use, just clip the top part onto the bottom, put the boiled potatoes in the v-shaped part and push the handles together. The potato is forced through into fine pieces, meaning light mash and no lumps. It's pretty well made and is fairly weighty. I have issues with my wrists and hands so hoped this would be an easier way to get perfect mash than using my old masher. And while it does still take some pressure to press the two parts together, it is a little easier than my previous masher and I don't have to keep going over the same bit trying to make sure there are no lumps as this ricer ensures lump free mash with each press.I halve or quarter the potatoes, depending on their size and the ricer is a good size so it holds a fair amount, making the process quite quick. Once you've done all the potatoes, you can add a little butter, milk, cream or even some cheese if preferred but I just like to add some ground black pepper, turmeric and a little cayenne pepper for really flavourful mash, or some mustard seed and a little garlic. I also like adding finely chopped spring onions or finely sliced cabbageAnd this doesn't restrict you to regular mashed potato. It's also great for mashing turnip and carrots which you can have separately as sides or add to mashed potato for a root veg mash. It helps make light, fluffy mash which is perfect for making moreish croquettes or potato balls. It's easy to clean by hand (I don't have a dishwasher so can't comment on that) and usually a dish sponge is sufficient but sometimes I use a brush to get into the nooks and crannies. The two parts come apart really easily, which is great for cleaning, but the only thing is that this also means the top part sometimes slips out of position at one side when using the ricer which can be a little frustrating but is just a minor niggle. The quality and versatility make this product good value for money.

The item is well made, solid, and of stainless steel. I gave it a test run with potatoes boiled and halved. They weren't very big ones, but I imagine this ricer could have handled them without halving once cooked up.Popped them in with blocks of butter, squeezed down and that is it. Some escapes the sides, but that is also already mashed so can be knocked straight into the bowl, or simply remove the presser part and knock it back into the reservoir part, add more potatoes, and continue. When it is all riced, add whatever you fancy, butter, a splash of milk/cream, a touch of mustard, chives, black pepper, salt, etc., then with a spatula fold over till well mixed. A spoon would do fine too of course! The results are perfect, without all the effort of mashing, and I thought it was way quicker! I think I'll get even faster with it too once I get used to it more. I ran it through the dishwasher afterwards without any ill effects visible to it.Overall, it is a decent ricer masher, I like it!

I've wanted to try these for a while now. I've never had a problem with eating lumpy potatoes before, but I keep seeing random videos online for super cheesy creamy mashed potatoes and they always use one of these potato ricers. It's easy to use if you've got the arm strength for it- just pop your potato in and smoosh down like a giant garlic press. Your potatoes need to be super soft and also peeled for ease of use. I'll miss having skin in my potatoes but it would just gunk up the tiny holes. The two sides come apart for easier washing up or sticking them in the dishwasher. It's sturdy and tough and there are no breakable bits I can see, so you should have it years if you use it properly.
