I had been wanting to get a ricer for quite some time and had been researching which type of ricer I would like to get. I was not looking for a ricer that I could change out inserts and this ricer fit the bill. I like that it is really heavy duty and can process the foods easily when cooked correctly. I like to make gnocchi so the scraper that comes with this ricer is perfect for cutting the dough. There are no inserts to deal with and clean-up is a breeze. This ricer made the best "mashed" potatoes that came out so smooth. No more gummy mashers from over mashing trying to get them smooth. Yes, it is bulky so you will need to make space for it but it is the quality that could be passed on for generations!

There is no doubt that this is a bit of a bulky item and will need room to store it. That being said, it couldn't be any easier to use. It riced my potatoes like butter. I had fluffy and smooth potatoes so quickly.

I got this stainless steel potato ricer for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to the kitchen tools. Wow, these are nice and really handy tools to have. Makes mashed potatoes fun and easier- like a pro. I plan to give this a lot of use for many years. And the dough scraper is another gem. So useful. Five stars!

A great potato ricer. It has a nice handle which fits perfectly in my hands.It's easy to clean it. Just rinse it with warm water.I recommend medium size potatoes because it takes less effort to mash the potatoes.

So easy to use. As another reviewer stated, this works best with medium sized potatoes. But I just cut my bigger potatoes in half and they work fine. No more using my potato masher or lugging out the kitchen aid for mashed potatoes. This saves me time, makes clean up easier, and best of all - no lumps in the potatoes. Mashes them perfectly every time.The dough scraper is wonderful when I make my homemade biscuits.Both pieces are easy to clean. My family is definitely happier - homemade mashed potatoes and biscuits more often.
