I haven't had a chance to take these out on the boat yet, but did some string pull tests with them.These feel like they're good quality. Honestly, I have some from a name brand manufacturer, and if they weren't a different color, I don't think I'd be able to tell them apart.I put some fishing line in both, and using my "highly calibrated, precision" arm and fingers I pulled the lines out to test the release. They both felt very similar in the pressure and release.Overall, these feel like they're very good quality. I'm looking forward to testing them out on the boat. If my opinion changes once they're hooked up to the outriggers, I'll update my review. I don't expect that to be the case though.

These clips hold the line well and are easy to operate. The cable is a good length and the clip is the right size for attaching. The plastic design improves how long they will last in salt water.

These work okay but no tension adjustment so I'm keeping them for backup use.

While these are marketed for down riggers, I used them for surf fishing. As other mentioned, they appear to be the same design as the Scotty clips. The clips and pads were able to take 8oz of bait and weight out to where the halibut are. The pads on the clips are a harder rubber, and it worked well for this application.So if you are looking for a clip to use for drone fishing, these do the job just fine.

These clips grip 10 lb mono line well. Non adjustable tension. These are priced well and similar to a number of others on Amazon.

Good quality, heavy duty snaps and leader. The clips have the right amount of tension to hold the line and release when the fish bites. Easy to use, works great for trolling.
