My brother (mechanic) was a bit peeved when I showed up with this hose. I told him the price difference was $100 compared to Auto Zone. To replace this hose is not easy or simple (a Honda design flaw that was corrected in the next generation). There are some very good instructional videos online, but the actual job is somewhat a nightmare. At first, my brother thought that this didn't fit. He went and bought the $125 one. He couldn't get it to fit. He actually thought about hiring someone, but most places won't do work that's already started, or install your part.Day two, after watching the videos again, he actually installed this hose. It has to be manipulated a bit, but this was the one. It's on my 2003 Honda Odyssey right now, no leakage at all!The Auto Zone hose he bought wasn't returnable. From what I understand, this seller guarantees that the part will work, but it's great.

If your going to try and wrestle this or any other aftermarket line like this onto your Honda lying on the driveway like a Neanderthal like I did, do yourself a HUGE favor and just buy an OEM Honda hose. It's tight fitting these in. I invented quite a few new swear works and was rambling on in strange tongues trying to get this thing to line up. Once I did it is working fine, but I literally spent hours on this install. The guys on youtube make it look easy. IT"S NOT, especially if you do not have a lift. I am pretty decent working on cars, but this install was a PITA, to put it mildly. No offense to the manufacturer of this hose, but the bends need to be in the right spots. Not just close, in the right spots, like the OEM hose. I pulled this things out a half a dozen times to rebend it, as I faught it into the car. It became a real test of will.

I was concerned about the fit because of 1 or 2 other reviews. When I got it mostly in and went to connect it to the rack & pinion I initially thought it was a few inches short as noted; however, as I looked closer I found that I hadnt quite shifted it fully into place and that one of the final angles was slightly off, but not by much. I was still able to get it lined up and connected properly with a little effort. Been running with it for a few days now and so far seems to be working. Will update if this changes.2/28/20 Update: More recently I have noticed my power steering reservoir starting to run low. I just checked it with my son craking the steering wheel while I check for leaking, thinking another hose somewhere else may be leaking, but nope. This hose is leaking at the joint where the initial pipe goes into the compression fitting part. Will be doing a warranty switch on the part and updat on how that goes.

I have a 2003 Odyssey. This product is high quality and fit perfectly. This is not an easy job, if you are doing it yourself, plan to have jack stands at a minimum to get the vehicle up as high as possible. Thankfully the fit was exact, I can’t imagine doing this job with a replacement that isn’t an exact fit.
