As previously mentioned this hose is not the same shape as OEM but it does work. It looks to be high quality and most likely not similar cheap ones manufactured in China. The hardest part was getting the connecter underneath the car where the crow's foot is required. That didn't work for me so I finally sawed the metal tube off and used a socket. The new cable only has one (vs 2) rubber grommet connections. The one provided is placed close to the above difficult connection where one of the old hose ones was located.. But it does definitely seem stable and does the job nicely. I also replaced all 3 Honda gaskets. One on the switch, I replaced the one that came with the hose that attaches to the top of the power steering pump, plus the one on the front of the power steering pump. I was having some noises beforehand which turned out to be the front power steering pump gasket... fortunately found in a youtube video. It also took only approx 2 new bottles of Honda transmission fluid to refill the reservoir/system. Super happy I went with this hose... it fits most nicely. And instead of $500 at the dealer which I was quoted the job was only $30 (plus 2-3 hours of my time). ps - the taking the switch off to then put on the new hose takes a skinny/thin wrench.

I installed it on a 2003 Honda Accord and it was a b!$#* to install . The worst part is snaking it to the other side. It works perfectly but it really is a headache to install .If you don’t have the right tools and if you don’t have patience just pay a mechanic. But if you do install it on your own and you get everything done correctly it is very satisfying, and you save a little extra money , Great product overall. I highly recommend this for DIYSelvers .

I saved about $350 installing this myself on a 2007 Odyssey. Almost had an "oh, sh*t" moment when I compared the new to the old. The shape and rubber grommets didnt exactly match the original one that I removed so I heard that "Honda Genuine" argument in my head. But dont worry. This is a replacement AND improvement. The bends in the hose for the new hose eliminate the need for the additional grommet.I would recommend watching several YouTube vids on the process. My experience: I had to dremel cut the old hose close to the PS pump and then remove the bolt with a socket wrench. Remove the old sensor to reuse it. This requires a lot of leverage to get that sensor off. From under the car, start near the PS pump and snake the new hose end toward the passenger side and up around the belts. Loosely attach the screw and rubber grommet to help keep the hose in the right place. Seat the hose in the PS pump and finger tighten. Attaching the new one was a little tricky because I was scared of cross threading. When you're confident its seated well, finish with a crows foot. I didnt have much room to work with so this took a while to tighten with short cranks on the wrench.

06 Honda Odyssey... This was my 1st time doing this job so it took me quite a few hours to complete the job. After getting EVERYTHING done, I started my vehicle and recognized that fluid was shooting from the "new" hose 😡. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price but decided to give it a shot... BAD IDEA!! Poor quality, don't waste your time and money on this.

Amazon sent item on time, quick service and packaged well. The part itself was not exact as an OEM part but it worked.
