it is still making a winding noise and I cant find anyone to tell me what kind of oil it uses or how to bleed it Thanks

Blew out the end seal in less than 6 months.

I have this pump on an early camaro with an aftermarket serpentine set up and it works really well. To answer other guys problem/question. Fill fluid, Jack up front end and cycle steering lock to lock severalTimes. RE check fluid level. Should be lower if gearbox or rack was changed. Refill. Start engine and check fluid again, refill as necessary, now cycle steering several times with engine running. Give slight tug at “lock†each direction. Checking fluid regularly. This should get well the air out amd provide quiet trouble free operation
