Was expecting the valve pin to be 2 mm shorter than what was included with mine, however, they were identical in length. This is worth noting for people who already have the 16 joule version. It does seem like a much higher grade steel so I did switch out with my original and it does appear to have a little more beef to it. I’m guessing it took me from 16 to 20 J which I guess is acceptable. The way this is worded I thought it was going to add 20 joules. I know there are power kits for this that take it to 36+ , but are only available in Germany. Also, take note that the original is glued in to place so make sure you heat the valve up over the stove for a few seconds before trying to loosen it, I almost stripped the old one because of that.
