Pros: 1) Well built; solid net, uprights, well made quality metal, tie downs, carrying case, basically every component is good quality. 2) Simple deployment and breakdown, 3 mins max. for one person. 3) Price about half of what a bownet costs 4) Makes practice feel more like a game & kids take practice more seriously. Allows set pieces, corners, goal kicks, and goal mouth defending more realism compared to pop up goals. 5) Looks really sweet.Cons: 1) I should have bought twoThis goal is the real deal I have been coaching kids soccer for 4 years with pop up goals and the powernet is in a class all its own. The mobility of it makes taking it to the 4 sessions I run a week a no brainier. It easily fits in and out of the trunk of my Accord and set up is almost as simple as a pop up goal. The 12x6 size is big enough to make my keeper work and my strikers focus on placement. Super upgrade for any coach.

Perfect for practice. Easy set up once you read the instructions lol o tried to guess it at first. Sturdy and stays in place. Well made. Easy to take apart and put away. I use it for practices so it’s a lot of setting up and taking down.

What I like:1. Portable2. Easy set upWhat I don’t like:1. Durability2. HeavyI have 2 other soccer goals by PowerNet and this is a great size. Kids love scoring goals and hitting the back of the net is like a swish in basketball. It makes a difference. These are easy to set up, like a couple minutes a piece. A bit heavy to carry but then that weight is helpful when shooting on it. My other 2 goals the nets are coming apart a bit at the corners but they still work after a year of use.The ability to use any patch of grass as a field because you have goals is very valuable for a rec soccer coach who doesn’t have fields to practice on.Summary: I would buy this exact goal again. I don’t know if the durability is worth it to upgrade to BowNet but the price is good for the quality so far.Bottom line: If you need a soccer goal, this is great!

Goal looks good and holds up well. Received only 3 out of 4 upper poles so the net on one side continually falls.

I'm going to keep this at a 1 start right now. I just bought 2 of these 14'x7' goals. One went together perfect. The second one came out of the box with problems. It was just put together at the factory wrong. Main supporting bracket in the center of the base was on upside down. It would not allow the legs to lock into position. Had I not just put together the other goal, I would have never known this was the issue. Fortunately, I was able to remove the bracket and turn it right side up and make the legs lock. The other problem is unfortunately not easily fixed. On the base there are four holes (one on each corner). 3 out of 4 holes are the correct diameter and accept the poles perfect. The 4th hole is about a 1/8" smaller and will not accept the pole. Its really frustrating to get something brand new out of the box and it is just manufactured wrong.I was able to pull the insert out of the base. I sent email and picture to PowerNet hoping to get the correct piece that I can plug into the base frame. I won't have two goals for my practice on Monday like I had hoped, but if I can get the peice I need to make this goal work, I am willing to change my review based on the performance of the goal rather than the assembly of the goal out of the box.If I cannot get help from PowerNet, I will return both goals and pay a little extra for the same type of goal from Bownet. I went with PowerNet due to price.

This is a perfect size goal for my 10 yo son. It sets up in a few minutes and can handle some hard shots. It’s does take a bit to stretch the length posts out and is easier with two people but manageable with one. When set it’s very stable and the bet remains taught. Take down is a breeze but you need to be careful to not tangle the net because it’ll make the next setup a pain. Overall a great net for the money!

I have bought 2 of these nets for my U10 and U12 soccer teams. They take a lot of abuse and have held up fairly well for as many shots and kids just pulling on them. The ease of use to set up is a life changer it’s so quick. I was going to write a negative review as at the 6 month mark a weld broke however, customer service was fast and efficient and was able to send a part in mail same day had the frame fixed before out next practice. Great net great customer service.

I bought the 12x6 version. There are other nets out there with this same shape but twice the price and since this had pretty good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I've had the net for about a week and have put over 1000 shots on goal. Both kids and adults use it so its had heavy use and it's holding up real well.It is designed well to absorb the shock of a hard shot using two anchors towards the front of the goal and elastic cables to anchor it to the ground. We've put a few hard shots of the post and it just bounces off and doesnot appear to effect it structurally.I looked at a few other options that had two poles to keep the goal shape and my neighbor went with one of those but after a few months the goal started loosing its shape. My hope is that since this goal has four poles keeping tension it will hold its shape much longer. If anything changes I'll update my post. One person can put this goal up in less then 2 minutes and take it down equally as fast. It fits nicely in the storage bag and can be carried around. There is some weight to it so I wouldn't want to carry it around for long. That is not a knock on the goal rather just an observation and something I think most people would expect with a 12ft goal. (There are instructions included but it is very self explanatory) One thing that I thought was unusual is that the bar across the bottom of the goal does not sit flush all the way across. Had I read the instructions rather then jumping into it I would have seen that it was by design, my bad.Overall I couldn't be happier with the goal at this point. My kids love it and it never gets put away.

Despite some minor quality issues, these goals have met and exceeded most of my expectations. Working as a professional coach, I need goals that are easy to set up, versatile, and well designed. These goals are just as easy to use on synthetic as turf, courtesy of having all their weight in the base frame, helping keep them upright most of the time, even without pegs. They're fairly quick and easy to set up, and provide a great sized goal to use for training. The only down sides are they're a bit heavier and bulkier than their "Skilster" style counterparts, but I feel they more than make up for it in terms of versatility.

Support arm for the top pieces of the net broke. Now we're 10 days outside the return window and stuck with a $400 goal that can't be used. Not good.

These units seem to be hit and miss. Have ordered the same size net in the past, and it has never been this disfigured. It isn’t rocket science to put together; one can assemble and disassemble within two minutes flat. The net should resemble a rectangle, and as you can see in the pictures, the base is MUCH narrower than the top of the net. It is anything but an 8x4 soccer net. This is closer to 6x4. Will be returning and have already ordered the 12x6 from GoSport, never had this issue.NOTE: Tried calling the company first, no response and no reach out. The 12x6 was an extra $20 on another platform. Easy decision.
