I have purchased several items from Powertec over the years and am not often disappointed. I purchased both the locking swivel casters and the fixed casters for a mobile shelving project and they performed far better than expected. The shelves are 6' high, 2' deep, and 4' wide. They a packed full with some heavy items, including full bins, tools, books, etc. The shelves roll easily so I can pull each shelving unit out easily to access what is on them. they have been up for a couple of months and there is is no sign of deformation in the wheels.

The original casters on my AV cart absolutely disintegrated on me. I see these things lasting for a very long time and they’re easy on my hardwood floors. I can’t believe more manufacturers don’t include these right off the bat.

Used these wheels to build a workbench. They wheel and swivel nicely. The locking mechanism is a bit difficult to unlock however and sometimes I need to unpry it with a screwdriver.

I bought four sets to make mobile plywood bases for filing cabinets in my garage and they work great. These were by far the best value at the weight rating. They appear to be well-made and the dual lock is nice since it prevents both roll and swivel. You do sometimes have to give them a nudge after locking to make sure the swivel lock teeth are engaged, but not a big deal. And since they're on the smaller side, they can get caught in the large concrete joints of my garage floor if I'm moving them slowly. But it's not hard to get them out and if you build a little momentum, they roll right over. Highly recommend these casters.

We installed these wheels on a couple of workbenches and a planer cart we built. They worked perfectly! Until… I climbed my fat butt on top of one of the tables that already had the weight of a large project on it to work on said project. 😂 A few days later, my husband asked me what happened to the wheels. 😂 Had no idea I had messed them up! lol. They didn’t break, but the metal plate that attached to the bench bent and broke the screws loose. We replaced the wheels with ones that are rated for a higher weight, and used better screws. We plan to reuse these (bent) wheels for another (lighter) project in the future.They were easy to install, but do not come with screws. (Make sure you get good, strong ones 😂)They are of good value for the money, and they roll/lock easily.

These were ok for a light-duty cart that I used them on, but the wheel locking mechanism, while it works, isn't that easy to unlock and usually can't be done by your foot because it's too stiff. I don't think I'd choose these again for anything that's not very light duty applications. I get people will install them in different applications but not including any mounting screws at all means it's a for-sure spend and separate trip to the store to get what I needed to install them. A couple more cents on the cost and include some screws that would work would be nice.

Súper útiles. Las puse en una nueva mesa para mi sierra de cinta. Ruedan perfecto y se bloquean muy bien con el freno. El material de la rueda hace que rueden muy suave. Muy recomendables.
