The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is because the product description doesn't make it obvious that this is a SURFACE clamp. This is basically a surface clamp +- 1/4 inch. i.e without additional blocking, mounted on the same surface as the workpiece, the workpiece can be up to 1/4" thick, or the pad can be adjusted to clamp at 1/4 inch below the clamp surface level. Yes, you can clamp a 2" board, but only if you mount it on a 2" block. Just like you can clamp 6 ft block, if you mount it on a 6 ft block. That aside, it suited my purpose just fine for making a jig to cut large panels of OSB. I thought I would need both clamps to hold the jig securely against 8' panels, but just one suffices as it has great holding power.

I used these to make a coping sled for my router table. Works great to hold the material in place and allows quick release for working a lot of pieces without a lot of fuss.

I bought these because I wanted to be able to joint 2x4 and 2x6 dimensional lumber to build cheap sturdy furniture for my kids and so far they are working great. The vertical ones are worth the extra money especially if you have a jobsite table saw like a Dewalt 745 because there's not a lot of room to have a wide sled. Because the toggles are clamped when vertical you can have a fairly narrow sled without worrying about the the toggles running into the table saw fence.I'm probably going to pickup another pair of these to build a sled that is better setup to joint 3/4" material instead of 1-1/2 inch dimensional lumber.

This set of clamps is reasonably priced and are good for all kinds of woodworking projects. The clamps can adjust for a variety of width boards. One of the clamps lost its ability to lock within a week getting it. The other clamp has worked well and continues to have good holding power. When the clamps work, they are good value for the price.

Davvero massicci e al prezzo più basso trovato online. Attenzione a non confondere i morsetti orizzontali con quelli verticali. Questi sono come in foto. Acquistati da usare come blocco per la guida parallela del banco sega autocostruita
