Have no problem with the item, it works well and well worth it for the money.Just would like to point out that the selling pictures show a solid "O" ring band in one picture while in the other, the "O" has a slight bend in it to accommodate the spiral wire in a hose.What came was the clamps with the crimp in them. turns out it was no problem and they work fine but it wasn't what I was expecting... hence the 4-stars

They are nice hose clamps, with a bridge so that they won't crimp steel-reinforced flexible dust collection hose.BUT if you are thinking of using them with the Amazon Choice 2.5" Dust Collection Hose , DON'T!These are made for a right-hand spiral hose; the hose mentioned above has a left-hand spiral, which, confusingly, is not mentioned in its description. For that hose you need Left Hand Bridge clamps .How do I know? ... Umm ... Because I bought the Right Hand ones by mistake, returned them, and got the Left Hand ones.

Unfortunately my hose is wound left hand, as I discovered when I attempted to install the right hand Clamps and they did not fit. I did get some left hand Clamps after that and they fit perfectly. (With left hand winding, the steel coil winds to the left away from you as you look down the hose.)

I am trying to use these with a Powertec 2.5inch dust collection hose, but can't get them to make a tight fit. The little bridge piece seems to be too long, and it might also be going the wrong direction. The latter issue is my own fault, but I don't see how it would work even if it went the other direction. I've gone back to my simple straight hose clamps and they do a good enough job.

please don't ask me to write a review for EVERY single item I purchase from your web site. Sometimes, there's just not that much to say about this or that, really. I mean, in this case, it's a hose clamp. It works. It's silver. It's niether ugly nor beautiful. Happy to give it a numeric rating, but not sure that writing anything about it especially when zillions of other people likely have is wortwhile.

They have made it opposite direction of hose turn. It would not fit in the groove. Booo!
