I needed a hose and with adapters to connect my sander and saw to a wet/dry vacuum. I decided to buy this one because it came with multiple adapters.Now right off the bat the adapters didn't fit my particular sander. But the awesome thing about these adapters that come supplied is that they're made of tuff rubber that can be molded.I found the closest adapter that fit over the sander's connecter port and using a heat gun I softened the rubber adapter and pressed it over adapter connecter.I left the adapter connected until it cooled and it molded perfectly over the sander's connecter and kept its shape. It's an air tight snug fit that stays on with friction making it easy to swap tools. No need for clamps.of any kind.I highly recommend this product. It should last a long time.

Most of the equipment in my shop uses 2-1/2" hose outlets, except for my handhelds, like my Porter-Cable plunge router and my Dewalt sander. The sander, in particular, comes with a cloth dust collect bag and a twist-lock adapter. This hose kit comes with a couple of hose end adapters, and the larger of the two fits right over the dust port outlet on my Dewalt sander. Then I simple insert the smaller hose adapter into the other one. (see photos) The result isn't a tight fit, but it stays put especially when the vacuum is running. So I used the smaller of the two adapters on the end on the hose where it will permanently stay. The hose is a little bit stiff, but that's good because my vacuum develops a lot of suction and would collapse a weaker hose. The hose length is optimal for my shop and I even rigged an overhead arm to hold the hose above my work surface while I sand.

Two of the connectors fit my older Porter-cable and dewalt Sanders perfectly and another one worked on my vacuum hose. Four stars because the hose is a little smaller and stiffer than I expected but otherwise works great.

I searched and I searched for a hose and hose connection system to connect my table saw (SawStop Jobsite Pro) blade guard dust port to my existing shop vac (Rigid). Other Powertec products failed to marry the parts together (and I tried lots) but this one worked - sort of. The small tool connector didn't fit the dust guard, but the adaptor for the vacuum did fit. Fortunately the hose fits snuggly into the blade guard port so it's kind of adequate. I'll have to see if the fit continues to hold over time as the plastic weakens.All three stars because I'm not certain about longevity of this solution. But hey, at this price I would recommend it.

The fittings were all deformed right out of the package. They're hard plastic, so I can't bend them back into shape. Completely useless, has to go back, hose won't fit into fittings

I have a Bissel Pet Hair Eraser upright vacuum that has been demoted to garage and auto use. Unfortunately, the handle and then the hose broke making it useless for cleaning car interiors. The same inferior Bissel replacement hose and handle would cost $50+ for a good used part. I took a chance on this hose kit to see if it would work. The hose is sturdy and much, much longer than the original. The two smaller couplers included in the kit were the perfect size (for my application) and their rubber construction made the fit onto the vacuum unit tight and leak free. Additionally, I took advantage of the "Used - Like New" Amazon option and got the kit for less than $18 (May 2024) to my door.

My 6†sander came with. Small and short dust hose. This and its included adapters are a huge improvement. Running the sander with the short hose connected to my shop vac hose was not a good experience. This hose is much lighter but still larger than the 1†dust collection port it is connecting to. The screw on side of the flanges holds tightly to the hose and the friction fit side has not fallen off any of the tools or my shop vac.
