I recently purchased this carburetor for my Honda-powered lawnmower from Amazon, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Firstly, the price was incredibly reasonable, and the shipping was lightning-fast, which I greatly appreciated. Upon arrival, I conducted a visual inspection, and to my delight, everything matched identically to the original carburetor.Installation was a breeze; all the holes and seals lined up perfectly, making the process seamless. After adding fuel and ensuring there were no leaks, I started the mower, and it fired up on the first pull, just like a Honda should. I was genuinely surprised by how well this aftermarket carburetor performed. It exceeded my expectations in every way.In my opinion, this carburetor is an absolute steal in terms of value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone in need of a high-quality replacement. Kudos to the manufacturer for delivering such a well-made product. It’s rare to find aftermarket parts that perform this well, but this carburetor truly delivers on its promises. Five stars all the way!

Bolted it onto my 10-year-old Honda mower (with the GCV 160 engine) and she started on the first pull. I was stunned!Came with extra gaskets and a petcock valve - obviously for a different mower - and a new spark plug which I had already bought, thinking that would be a quick-fix.No such luck.It also came with a new fuel filter; tried that by itself - again, no dice. (PS - you need to pump out the gas tank before you install the new fuel filter.)So I broke down and watched a couple of U-Tube videos…not that hard, really. You don’t need the extra long bolts to hold everything together temporarily that one video shows if you’re any good with your hands.I’m not a mechanic; but I can tear apart a computer or a hand-held radio and put it back together (and it’ll work).The skill set conveys to installing a new carburetor. If you have a 10mm socket and ratchet, a small knife or razor, that should be all you need.Make sure you have the gas valve OFF before you disconnect the old hose from the other side of the petcock.The kit even comes with a new gas line. I had to cut off about 2 inches as it was a bit long.NOTE: the first gasket you come across will be behind the air filter box - it actually sits behind a thin metal spacer of the same shape - DON’T THROW IT AWAY! Use a razor-blade stripper to scrape off the old gasket which will be partly melted onto to metal piece. There will be a new gasket that goes between the metal piece and the carburetor.

Ok...so I purchased a lightly used 2003 Troybuilt mower with a Honda 160 ACS engine. Horrible fuel that was allowed to sit in the off season has essentially destroyed the carb, so I decided to replace it.There are 2 carb styles. Auto choke and manual choke. Make sure you order the correct one. This one looks a little different than OEM, but I assure you, it works perfectly. It is much lighter in weight than the original, so probably not nearly as durable, but functionally, it is essentially the same. The largest difference is the the original carb has an adjustable idle screw, making minimum RPM easily changed. This carb has a metal tang, bendable with a flat blade screwdriver. Not as user friendly, but functional. Side note..factory setting on this carb was just fine.My sparkplug was in perfect condition and of higher quality than provided in this kit, but the one provided was OEM correct. Everything in the kit was correct for my application.While changing the carb I drained and cleaned the fuel tank. This is important. DO NOT run that old gas through your new carb. I filled the tank with 91 octane fuel and the mower started on the second pull. It works fantastic with my TB self propelled mower.

Went on fairly easy. I wished it had included a diagram with the sequence of everything. But after a little time looking on mine I found the proper information and when I got done with the reassembley everything for correctly and the mower started on the first pull..This saved me 450 plus. Didn't have to buy a new mower after all.

I put this on my mower. The fit was perfect. Started up right away. Then I noticed the seal around the float bowl leaking like crazy. I suspect an issue with the gasket between the float bowl and the carb. Be careful it was a very inexpensive carb but leaking gas like it did was poor.

Mower sat idle for over a year and I was unable to “ungum†the old carburetor. New carburetor worked like a charm first pull after replacing. Reused old gasket. Gaskets that come with kit suck.

Installed it and it fired right up. Some of the provided accessories didn't fit my mower (fuel filter, shutoff valve) but I didn't need them. Carb itself was a perfect fit and functioned properly for my HondaGCV160LA0 engine.
