This paint is so thin that several applications could not even cover cardboard. And after those several applications the paint started to chip off.

So I wanted to leave a bad review on this paint because it is so watery, so thin, and despite multiple coats it remained virtually clear. However, my husband, an artist, tells me tempera is just junk paint so it does what is expected of it. He felt it was unfair to leave a poor review on a product that is performing as it normally does.I would return it but that seems like a hassle, so I will have to hope I have poster making opportunities in my future since evidently Tempera excels at that.In the meantime I was able to use some old Crayola white finger paints which covered the little pine pieces I was painting. I guess I know what to buy in the future when I want acrylic like coverage without the cost: finger-paints.If you need thin paint with poor coverage, this is perfect. The level of thickness is lighter than the lightest layer of wet mod podge.

This paint is terrible. It’s translucent and pretty much a waste. You have to use soooooo much to lighten any other color. What’s bizarre is that the white that come with the set of paint works great and is opaque. No idea why Prang doesn’t have the same quality paint when you buy a single. I will never buy this paint again. Waste of space, time and money.

It comes out of clothes and off surfaces easily without staining. You don’t need a ton of it, a little goes a long way which is great for the dollar value. It doesn’t smell or look like cheap paint. A tad more watery then I’d like in a paint, not a huge deal in the long run, just had to be mindful when squeezing it out, don’t let kids pour it out!

The paint is not good ,when painting it’s more like a water colour paint than acrylic paint.
