Used micrometers to measure the accuracy they claim and it was absolutely spot on, perfect for automotive work. Buy it once buy it right. This is it.

No issues and arrived in really good condition. Can't wait to accidentally shred the .001" shim checking part flatness.

First thing, the feeler gauges were nearly impossible to remove from their pouch slots because of the anti-rust coating residue, making them cling to the pouch. I had to slide a bamboo skewer into each pouch slot, dab in some IPA, and then was able to pull the gauges out of the pouches.Second issue: Every one of the feeler gauges thicker than 0.005" had a burr on the end from the manufacturing process - a common occurrence with die-cutting . The manufacturer should have addressed this problem in the manufacturing process. I had to manually hone the tip of each gauge on a 1000 grit sharpening stone to remove the burrs.I expect better for the $45 price, and for made in USA. I recently bought a $16 set of Chinese-made feeler gauges that had none of these issues.

I use these while very often at work and they have never led me wrong. I purchased two sets so that I could use the same size shim and two different places at once and both of them have remained in good condition even after some mild abuse and misuse in my case. The price is not bad for the quality and they store easily in a toolbox.
