A bit of an epiphany… needed a specific spring to fix a 100 year-old Yale lock… overwhelming selection in the McMaster’s catalog, and even a “spring finder†app. But: if you are wrong, have to place another order…. So I got rough specs off the app, including wire dia. (Thanks, McMasters!) and ordered this… looked at a YouTube for instructions— and made the perfect spring on try #3 (the ends are trickiest :) anyway, it’s a shocker you can make custom springs at home! (Haha, at least small ones :)
