After wasting money on the cheaper power inlet with stamped knockouts that had to be drilled, I was pleasantly surprised that this one came with 3/4" knockouts already removed and plugged with a plastic plug. To make them 1" knockouts, a simple twist with a pliers removed the outer steel ring.

This is exactly what I needed , in series with a disconnect , to power my well pump with a generator .The green LED power light would serve as a warning that the circuit is energized from the garage subpanel in this arrangement .That's a great additional feature that would prevent a dangerous situation in the event of an oversight in procedure .The enclosure is high quality . I love the flip-up , weathertight cover .The product page does a good job of providing all of the dimensions with the exception of the diameter of the openings .They are 1-1/8" , as shown in the attached photo .The " knock-out " covers , as well as the rubber washers , are indexed to prevent rotation when securing .Another nice feature .An additional cover and gasket washer , along with a grommet for appropriately jacketed wire is included .( pictured )This is a really great price for a heavy duty inlet box .I am very pleased .
