Common Indicators It’s Time to Replace Your Engine Air Filter
- Engine Light Comes On: Many cars are equipped with an airflow sensor that sets off the check engine light.
- Visual Inspection: Premium Guard automotive air filters are white so you can see if they're dirty. Check the outside and inner layers of the filter paper for dust and debris.
- Reduced Fuel Economy: When engines get less oxygen, they consume more fuel. If you notice fuel economy going down, you may need to replace the air filter.

Subaru did not make it easy to install this filter. The new filter seems like the material for the filter might be thinner than the OEM version. I think I will change this filter more frequently due to this. Next tie I will probably buy one of the more expensive filters because the filter material did seem thinner. The filter did fit and will do the job.

En México se manejaron con este vehÃculo como SubaruXV, Pero si ustedes buscan las mismas refacciones, solamente pongan Subaru CrossTrek y el año, es el mismo vehÃculo, sólo que en Estados Unidos se le conoce con el nombre que les acabo de mencionar. La refaccion es identica a la de agencia.
