I ordered these to raise the height of a sofa. We have a leather sofa that opens to a queen size bed. The sofa is quite low to the ground. It was built that way for some reason. I wanted to raise its height so that it would be more comfortable to sit down, without feeling as though you're doing deep knee bends. These have helped quite a bit. I might prefer if the were two inches tall instead of an inch, but they have helped quite a bit in making the sofa more comfortable. I chose these because they are made of wood. Our sofa has round wooden legs that fit perfectly into these risers. The legs & risers happen to be the same color & I'm happy about that because the risers don't stand out. They blend in with the sofa legs, which is helpful because the sofa doesn't have a skirt around the bottom of it. I would recommend these to others who have a sofa or chair that is low to the ground. They've helped a lot.

I originally got these for my bed, until I remembered I actually have six legs on my bed, not four. So instead I put my loveseat on them to raise it up high enough for the roomba to get under. They worked like a charm! I will say that I don't know if you get exactly 1" lift from them, so if that's important to you then you may want to look elsewhere. But it was definitely more than half an inch, and big enough to make a difference for the roomba.

These Risers are very nice in alot of ways, but they only raise the bed 5/8 of an inch. The total thickness is one inch but they hollow them out for the leg to fit into so it only raises the bed 5/8 of an inch. So if you need a one raise these will not work for you. Don't knowvif it is a very poor design or a very poor description. Either way they don't do the job.

These wood risers have a nice aesthetic and look great when installed. I needed a guest bed raised about an inch to fit a storage unit underneath and these risers just barely squeaked by. Since my bed is on tiny wheels they easily fit inside the risers top recessed area and the walls prevent the bed from rolling off. Nice! Unfortunately, upon measuring the depth of the indent, I found it to be almost 0.4" deep, which is a significant difference to the advertised 0.22". This brings the effective height of the riser from ~1"(pad on) to ~0.6". This still was enough for my application, but could be a deal breaker for those that need that additional height.

I finally found a solution for adding just enough clearance between the floor and the bottom of my platform bed that perfectly matches the shape and finish of my bed.I needed exactly 1" additional space so that I could easily fit a set of underbed storage drawers. I didn't want risers that were too tall because then my cat would think it was an invitation to play underneath my bed, and the set of storage drawers I have needed just a small bit of additional space to easily roll in and out.I'm really happy with this product. They are solid wood and fit my bed legs snugly. The risers arrived with adhesive squares that prevent any slipping. Great product!

There are maybe a whole host of reasons for ordering these bed risers. I know some folks raise the head of their bed to avoid reflux, but I can't think of any other reasons right away. I laugh at my reason. I bought some large, flattish storage containers for out-of-season clothes, and I store them under the bed. Problem is that they just barely fit. I have to get my wife to pull out the containers or push them back in as I lift the bed ever so slightly. FINALLY, with these risers in place, I can change out my clothes without hurting my back! No more bed lifting. This is one of those simple little changes that seems so tiny, but wow, it has improved my life. HAHA, a life-changing product! How's that for a positive review?

...although they would help stop a bed from sliding, these ended up in the TV room as coasters. Good size!
