Easy to use instructions where plain and simple paint quality is good and a perfect match for the wheels would recommend others

I watched a few YouTube videos about how to fix curb rash. I was overwhelmed trying to find the right paint for the job. Luckily I came across this kit. Had the perfect sanding tool and the paint match is perfect. Completed this job in about an hour, maybe a little less. It seems you can reuse this kit a few times. Beats the $175 quote a mobile rim repair guy quoted me. The best advice I can give is make sure you use rubbing alcohol to clean the area before and between each step!

Have a 2022 Tesla Model Y with 20" Induction wheels. My rims were absolutely mangled. Missing chunks, dings, lots of curb rash. The kit is just what I needed. comes with 6 pieces of sandpaper three 80 grit and three 240 grit. If you already have sandpaper, then you don't need to order this particular kit. the sandpaper is nothing special and the yellow sanding block really isn't necessary. I found it easier to sand the rims by holding the paper in my hand, wrapped around my finger. The paint is easy to apply and when dries, it matches the Induction rim matte black. Just follow the directions. Super easy.Just to state the obvious - this isn't going to replace the divot you put in your rim. This kit just hides the imperfection so that when standing a few feet back, you can't tell that the rim was scratched.

overall, this made my curb rash look 90+% better. it is easy to usethe reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is it is not an exact color match. if you are looking from a few feet away, you can definitely tell. but, it is not terribly noticeable and looks a lot better than 4i would still buy this again

When you like your car so much and you or your wife gets that curb rash, it stings. This product came to the rescue. The color matched perfectly for my MY 20" Black induction wheels. Just remember to follow the instructions and be careful and patient when rubbing with sandpaper. It takes time. Use the 80 nits first and then the 240 nits. Once the surface has become smooth, apply the paint. Coat the paint atleast 3 times. After fixing there was still plenty of product left for future use.

So I saw the reviews, and decided to try to before buying a new rim. 21" Plaid rims, that were rashed badly. Probably 2-3mm deep, see pictures of stages. Instructions say 1-2 hours. Mine took me about 6-8 hours off and on and waiting between drying and additional sanding. So I started by sanding and sanding into the paint that was still in tact, but trying to smooth out the old paint so as to not have ridges. Then the process of using multiple layers to build up that amount of paint that was scratched off. It took about 4-5 hours of laying down several coats of paint to build the rim back up to the level so the new paint is level with the old paint. I also took the rim off the vehicle, and propped up the rim on an angle, so that the base build coat, wouldn't roll down the inside or onto the tire. Also, they recommend shaking for 1-2 minutes. I found myself shaking between 4-5 minutes, to get the right color and also shaking when doing a coat, the shiny paint particles then to fall to the bottom very quickly. At one point I thought they sent me the wrong color because I didn't shake it enough. After building the new base up to match the old paint, I went probably 1/2mm higher, I then sanded the new and old paint flat, so it was all consistent and smooth and gave it a final coat. The project took almost the entire bottle of paint, for those wondering. It's not 1000% perfect, but to anyone walking on the street or even looking, you can't tell. So put the time in and you'll be happy with this product.

Oh, by all means, if you're into wasting your money on a cheap product pretending to be professional, then go ahead and buy this garbage. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. Check out my photos and see the disaster for yourself. This product *claims* to be for rim repair on MY 20" black induction wheels, but surprise, surprise—it doesn’t even come close to matching the actual OEM finish. Seriously, who are they kidding? False advertising at its finest. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration—DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. TRASH.
