I'm pretty jazzed about finding these rawhide chips for my two dogs - Snookums, a black lab/rott mix, and Delilah, a mastiff/bloodhound mix. Snookums is a very hardcore chewer, and most rawhide chews last him at most a minute or two. These last for up to 20 minutes of very happy chewing. Delilah loves them, too but usually only manages to finish about half of hers.The brand I used to buy was Green Cow, and I was happy with it for quite a while. Unfortunately, the last two bags contained chips too thin and tiny to give to large dogs (under 2" by 2"), so I had to switch. Trying new rawhide brands always makes me nervous because most give Snookums an upset stomach and incredibly foul smelling gas. Not a problem with Brazilian Pet.The 3 pound bag I received contained 45 chips. The cost worked out to 62¢ per chip. The thickness did vary somewhat, but most were between 1/8" and 1/4" . The size was pretty consistent at around 7" by 3". They were packaged for freshness, with the chips divided between 3 individually sealed bags within the main bag.We're about halfway through the bag, and the only possible negative so far is that one of the chips was brittle enough that Snookums was snapping off bites to swallow without chewing. The rest of them have been flexible, as advertised.I do recommend these chips for large dogs and serious chewers.

Great bang for your buck and they seem to last longer than another brand I had used for years.....and my dog is a very heavy chewer. I just wish they were a bit thicker. It's not that they are paper thin, they have an adequate thickness and the chips are large and rather uniform in their size. I would definitely recommend these.

I have a 72 pound Pit Bull and I need treats that will last him for a while, and I finally found them with the Brazilian Pet Premium Rawhide Chips! They are big and thick enough that sometimes he will chew on it for about 30 minutes or so and still have some of it left and he will come back to it later! I recommend these if you want a chew that will last even your big dog!!

They arrive on time and are packaged well. They are consistently thick, and that makes both Xander and me happy! I did receive a shipment in which they were quite thin. They replaced them immediately with good customer service. I have purchased quite a few orders, and I would highly recommend them. There is only one caveat, and I have seen folks asking this question. I always watch him when he has a rawhide treat, and when he gets to the point it is small enough to swallow without chewing it up, I give him a new treat. He is a very heavy chewer so these treats are a blessing. He is a nine-month-old Husky. Oh, I did not rate flavor, as I have not tried them...LOL...but Xander is happy. Unlike highly flavored bones, there is no stain to get on floors, carpets, and upholstery!

I was looking for a thicker cut rawhide chip because my dogs go through the thin ones so quickly it doesn't occupy them very long, so I decided to try these. They ARE thick enough BUT they are way too big. I have a 25 lb rat terrier and a 70 lb rescue and these things are too big for either of them, because they usually end up switching treats after I give them one. Now I'm trying to find something that will cut them in half so they will be suitable, so far to no avail. So unless you have a dog the size of a horse I'd say these are not a good buy. I also have to put peanut butter on (the ones I managed to cut) them to get to even show the slightest interest in them.

My Labs can't wait to get one every morning. Most are good size and some are pretty thick. And you get a good amount. When the dogs see the delivery guy they go nuts knowing there are rawhide in the box. The only complaints I have are they are pricey for rawhide and I might start looking around for a better deal. Plus, I don't know who's fault this is but the last few times delivery has taken a week or more. And if it happens again I won't get them. The last order was Dec 29, and still waiting. But like I said my Labs love them so we will see.

I now only buy this and one other different treat for my friend's big pup. These go over so well and I feel hood contributing to her pet's happy chews.
