I mount cut-down canvas sheets to these and use them to paint on with oils. They work like a charm for this purpose, giving the canvas sheet stiffness and support. The adhesive is forgiving enough so that you can re-position your art/other media.HOWEVER...these things are just prohibitively expensive. I ordered one package and was going to order another the following week, but it had gone up several dollars in just a week. I'll have to think of something else. But if you have money to burn, these are nice project boards.

This is the best that I have found so far to finish and frame stitcheries. Easy to work with and plenty stick to hold anything. Great stuff!!
