I could not set it to my setting I wanted. It goes over and under setting I want. But worked better than my old one.

I used this 40-60psi well-pump regulator to replace my older, failed 30-50psi version. Installation was straight forward for me, since I have a power cord plug wired into my regulator acting as a pigtail, running from the regulator up to the outlet. Makes disconnection of power both local, easy, as well as "clearly" safe, when swapping one regulator out for another one, or even when replacing a well pump if the need arises. Anyhow, other than adding 10 pounds of air to my Well-Mate pressure tank to operate with a 40psi (low-side) vs a 30psi (low-side) water pressure, the rest of the replacement was child's play. Anyhow, the build quality of the regulator housing is nicely cast and the internals seemed to be of quality materials as well, as I was able to torque the contacts down without stripping anything out. It's been in operation now for a couple of months and hasn't given me any troubles at all in maintaining proper water pressure. Couldn't be happier.

Long story short: I bought this pressure switch because my previous switch failed and this was the fastest way to get a replacement switch. It's installed and working, but the contacts do not align properly, so I seriously doubt it will last very long. I probably should have paid more to get higher quality and waited a while longer for the item. Aside from the poor contact alignment, the switch works fine.

This well pump pressure switch is well made from quality material. It appears durable and rugged. This switch replaces other standard well pump switches and provides 40-60psi parameters. It is easy to install and works great. Fantastic switch at a bargin price. The item is as described by the seller. I am very pleased with this product and believe you will be as well.
