Bought this to flash some 2716's for a pinball machine and it worked great. Found out the hard way not to plug the 2716 upside down as it not only clears the code but nuked the original EPROM.Note some EPROMS require higher voltages than the USB puts out. This can accept a 9V power adapter to supplement the juice. This does NOT come with said power adapter

The programmer works very well with the need to flash UV EPROM chips. I cannot address EEPROMS, I don't know if those can be used with the programmer. The EPROM eraser has a small hole in the front drawer either it was intentional to allow the user to see the light was coming on or it was made to support a handle that was not included with the product is unknown.

Used this to program a few 2716 EPROMS for a Williams System 4 pinball. Worked perfectly on the first try. Software works fine on windows 10, and the driver was easy to install (just run as administrator). Also works great for testing pinball/arcade ROMs against the original data.

The programmer works for the devices I need to program.No rubber feet on the programmer at all.Software download and installation was fast and flawless.
