I purchased these for emergencies and placed in vehicles, and kept a few at home. I have had these for a while and wanted to test them out. One Saturday in February 2022, my son decided he wanted to go fishing. It was a warm morning but sitting on a rock near the lake shore, I got cold. I pulled a sheet out and wrapped myself in the sheet. I warmed up but my back just stayed cold. The size is great, it is of a good quality as it lasted more than one go at the lake, and it sure did keep water off my clothes when the wind picked up. Great product, will purchase again in the future.

I deliver groceries and restaurant meals via bicycle across all four seasons. I add a couple of these blankets to my hot/cold bags in order to keep foods at their optimal temperature. The outdoor temps that I work in can exceed 100°F in the summer and dip below 20°F in the winter. These blankets do not disappoint. I also work in an area that has a sizable homeless community, and I oftentimes give them away to my homeless neighbors who need them whenever the temps drop. The last time I checked, emergency blankets similar to these cost upwards of $5 each at my local big box retailers.

I hope they work well. We like having them for emergencies and had used up our previous ones. But we didn't actually open any of these, just store them away for just in case.

They work well and will keep you from freezing in an emergency. Mylar reflects your body heat back to you. It's useful for so many things. Put it under a bed to reflect your body heat back in the winter. Place it under your feet if your floor is chilly. A must to have in your car if you live in a cold climate.

I just recieved 4 packages of these blankets for a total of 40 blankets. Besides putting some in our vehicles and bug-out bags for emergencies, I also tacked a few up inside, blocking the radiant heat from very hot windows. I also have used 4 of them, leaving them folded up lengthwise, to wrap around the exhaust hose on the Portable Air Conditioner (PAC) in my bedroom. That exhaust hose gets so hot that is was actually putting heat back into my room and making my PAC run longer. Since adding the blankets, it has really helped in my bedroom.There have been absolutely no problems with any of these blankets that I have used out of their packages so far. Yes, they are thin, BUT they are just the same thinness and quality as many of the other inexpensive Mylar Emergency Blankets. Matter of fact, I think these are even a bit better in quality than some I paid a more for from REI. I like these Primacare HB-10 Blankets so much I'm ordering more packages to have on hand for friends and people who may be in need. Excellent price at $7.20 a 10 pack from Elite Online Supplies. Having extras also offers 1000's of creative opportunities! BTW, in summer, I take an ice chest in my vehicle to put frozen and cold groceries when I shop. I use one of these blankets to then cover the chest and any bagged groceries to keep everything cooler on my way back home. I LOVE these things!

I used mylar blankets before.We've not used these yet as they are in our emergency bag for our airplane. Lightweight is important for a small plane. I expect they will be great if needed - which we hope we never NEED to use them.The only good emergency is no emergency.

I live in Canada where winters are extremely cold ,I b uy these for our homeless population who struggle to survive on the streets having to sleep outside on the frozen snow covered sidewalks or in tents and sdhelters thery have made when homeless shelters are full. I hand these emergency blsankets out to people and they are very thankful even thuough obviously these blankets are not the most cozy,quiet or comfortable things obviously ut they do serve a purpose and they do work ! = They save people from literally freezing to death🥶🥶 in sub zero temperatures even -30 Celcius ! Do a random act of kindness,buy these and pass them on to people who re in desperate need of help,they are affordable for mot and there's always someone in need of a helping hand. Worth every cent !
