This actually wasn't my first choice for a travel mat, but it was the only one that would arrive overnight to the hotel where I was staying. It's perfect for a travel mat! It's not the lightest weight one (which is why it was my second choice), but it's still way lighter than the mat I use at home. It's a decent thickness to provide some padding, and if it's not enough you could always use it on top of a beach towel or something for additional padding. For me, the main thing is grippiness. I thought I could just do yoga anywhere but I tried it in the hotel room on a beach towel and it was terrible, because my hands and feet kept slipping in poses like down dog. This mat has great grip, and really I think that's the main thing you need to do yoga anywhere. It folds up so it's easy to throw in your carryon bag, which a rolled mat wouldn't be. I did notice a faint rubber smell on it when my face is close, like in child's pose, but it's not strong or too chemical, just smells like rubber. I hope that will start to fade but we if it doesn't, it's not a deal breaker. Glad I got this!

This yoga mat easily fit in my carryon bag or my carryon suitcase, so I didn't have to bring a large suitcase that would need to be checked. Folded up, it was great to sit on for meditation! Also great value for the cost and held up very well! There are lots of color choices.

Unfolds and refolds easily. Great for a shorter yoga practice while traveling. I was so happy to find this on Amazon!Used for 2 weeks and still looks perfect

I’m a yoga teacher and love this mat! I usually use a Manduka mat in my daily practice, but this mat was great to take on vacation. It offered good support and decent grip. I loved that it is a full-sized mat, but folds up so nicely and saves so much space in a suitcase. The color is also very pretty too. Upon opening the mat, it did smell a bit like plastic, so air it out a bit when you receive it.

Handle well daily exercises for a month know !I was a bit scared that it would be stiff and keep the folding shape when unfold on the floor but the material is pretty heavy and flatten perfectly !It have a plastic smell but nothing surprising (even the high quality mat tend to smell a bit so...)The square folding happen being very useful and easy to store !

Its thin compared to a regular rolled yoga mat, its wide, but not really great for travelling. Its folded but its heavy and still big to fit on a luggage. Its takes so much space and a lil expensive for a yoga mat.

I purchased this yoga mat because I travel frequently, and it fits perfectly in my checked luggage. I like its convenient size and ease of use. However, while the mat does provide cushioning, I found its thickness to be a bit too much for stability when practicing yoga moves and postures. I didn't feel grounded on the mat and wished it were a bit thinner. Overall, if you're looking for a travel yoga mat, this one might work for you.
