Your cart is empty.Finishing washers or countersunk washers are meant to be used with countersunk screws and prevents them from being pulled into the surface of the material you are working with. They also increase the bearing surface so that the load is distributed over a larger area. Use of these washers results in a more finished and cleaner looking appearance. Ensure that the screw head fits inside the recessed portion of the washer.

These finishing washers are made with a thinner gauge steel than store bought, plus they are a slightly different outer diameter than the big box home stores (or small neighborhood hardware stores). Not impressed.
