The latch is a match to the original locking latch that came on the door. Installation was easy and very straight forward. The new latch works just like the original. I am happy with new latch.

The original lock had a broken metal tang and as a result the lock was slipping. This device was a perfect fit and worked perfectly. Very easy to replace.

These are the only ones I could find that work in my Likit sliding glass doors. Could never get a match at any of the local hardware or big box stores. These work like a charm. Likit was a local window and door manufacturer in the San Francisco Bay Area, don't think they are in business now.

Delivery was good. Product was a perfect fit for replacement, and is working very well. Very satisfied. Price was fair. Saved a lot of time and trouble trying to find in a retail store. Tried to find earlier at stores to no avail.

I've had to replace this latch on my porch sliding glass door several times. It seems though that the last ones don't last nearly as long as they used too. It is simple to replace, but I'd like to not do it as often.

The E-2105 lock is not the greatest piece of engineering ever created but it is used in dozens of different patio door locks. Chances are if you live in the USA or close by you already have one.What makes it crappy, well its just thin sheet metal and easy to break plastic. Not the most secure thing either. Good enough to keep your kids or pets from opening the patio door but not much else.The good thing about it is if your patio door handle has one of these locks, and its broken, you dont have to throw the whole handle away and go out and buy a new one. You can change out just the E-2105 lock part itself.Thats helpful because there are hundreds of different patio door handles and window companies just love to make there just a little bit different in an attempt to force you to buy from themIf they let their guard down and used this little lock. You are in luck, you can just swap out the broken lock . I tried to include a couple of pictures showing where it used. But there are plenty more places.
