Works just fine. A bit malleable, able to fit right into the door.

This was a perfect replacement for an old, warn out strike plate.

Works fine, I switched out the screws for longer ones to get deeper into the wood for a more secure lock. But it sits flush and I had no issues installing it.

After replacing all door locks in home and realizing the standard strike plates that come with new door locks would not work on our home. Being that our home was built in the 50’s the standard sized plates were too short and the holes did not align with the existing holes from old strike plate. After searching I found these and boy were these a perfect match! I will only be buying these from here whenever a replacement is needed. Cheaper then my local hardware store! Great buy!

I had to du surgery on the metal door to make this work, but it solved the problem (the locking mechanism was not engaging the original striker plate, so I added this one and a few spacer washers, and now it works fine).

The strike plate is very well made with quality metal. I used it to replace a deadbolt strike plate to prevent people inadvertently damaging door trim when the deadbolt was extended outwards when closing the door. The measurements were correct for my replacement but I did have to move it a few mm to accommodate for my dead bolt to fit in hole as this was probably not intended for dead bolts. It serves my purpose of protecting the wood trim.

Really appreicate that fact that these were the precise fit for the ones that were on the doors. Our house was built in 1970 and the new striker plates fit in exactly. Did not need to get my chisel, or wood filler for these. Two screws and done!

The picture showed a little indent lip on the right side of this piece but it’s actually straight. Did the job but sticks a little because of that.
