These tilt latches by Prime-Line Products are constructed of plastic and come white in color. They are spring-loaded, and are designed for use on vertical vinyl sliding windows. They fit both single- and double-hung vinyl sliding windows, and the housings measure 3-9/16 inch in length, 7/8 inch in width. The mounting holes are spaced apart at 2-9/16 inch on center, and they feature an 11/16 inch backset. These latches are easy to install and they are used by a variety of window manufactures.

I was able to fix a tilt in window for about $5.00 rather than replace the whole window. These are kind of universal in that they mount with screws. Works well, window is now tight to the frame

Super excited to find this as a replacement part for my magnetic double screen door. Not easy to figure out what size I needed or what the part was called but that is not on the seller. As this part was being used in a non traditional manner, I had to make a slight modification but IT WORKS PERFECTLY! I would buy again but hope I never have to. LOL.

I would have liked to have been able to find a unit made of metal materials. However, these fit perfectly and are a much needed improvement at a perfectly reasonable price point. I'm very happy with them.

We couldn’t figure out why this window was popping out at the top until my sister and I figured out it was this little guy right here. The window tilt latch was broken on both sides. I took to the internet and started measuring the length, width and distance between screws and found these. Perfect match! It took us about 5 minutes to change them out, just to realize we’d installed them on the wrong sides. It matters. That lip/latch that holds the window in place was broken off of the old ones so we had no reference. It took another 5 minutes to reverse them…and…DONE! Good as new.

This fit my window existing holes and all. Mesurements are true/exact. The kit came with screws. I put a comparison of my existing broken one to the kit. House was built in 1999.

They seem OK and are working as intended, but the plastic does not appear durable at all.Unfortunately this is all I could find to fit my windows.I wish locks like these were made of metal instead of cheap plastic.

Have purchased these a few times now and they are high quality replacements to the broken OEM hardware on my windows.Full disclosure I had to add backing material to my existing windows as there was nothing for the screws to bite into behind the thin vynyl of the top sash of the window. Basically slipped a wooden shim in for the screw to bite into.
