Use this Prime-Line N 7015 Door Guide Kit to eliminate the slop and horizontal scratches in a swaying pocket door system. Featuring an adjustable slot which enables them to accommodate doors of various thicknesses, the sliding door guide is used by a variety of pocket door manufacturers. Made of durable plastic construction, the sliding guide comes in a white finish. Each sliding closet door bottom guide measure 1-1/8 inches in length and 1-1/16 inches in height. Please refer to the line art drawing for dimensions and compare to your needs before purchasing.

When the builder installed our pocket door, he forgot to install guides, so the door banged around in the opening when being slid open or shut. I mounted these guides on the trim after the fact. Not ideal, but they're not very visible down at the bottom of the door, even when surface mounted. They're very adjustable, and the nice big nylon glides make for smoothing opening and closing. Installation took just a few minutes. Slick, inexpensive solution. By the way, I ordered both these Prime-Line guides and the identical looking Slide-Co guides, since they were cheap (a couple of bucks) and I thought I might end up breaking one when installing. The Prime-Line and Slide-Co guides are indistinguishable, but the Slide-Co guides came with four mismatched screws and the instructions on the package were for a different product, so personally I'd recommend the Prime-Line guides over the Slide-Co guides.

Do you have pocket doors in your home & they aren't opening & closing smoothly? First check the bottom of the door to see if there are guides that keep the door aligned & from moving side to side; they're an intregal part for keeping pocket doors in good working order. We prefer these pocket door guides because they screw into the door trim vs. others that get screwed directly into the (wood) flooring; it's easier to patch trim work than fix holes in wood floors. Our kitchen door had a funkier guide that wasn't working, so we went with this design, which matches the guides for the bathroom pocket door. P. door guides are almost non-existent in big box stores or hardware stores, so Amazon is often the only option for this item. Price is very good.

This product has worked well and is sturdy. It channels a heavy pocket door with minimal friction and no scraping for a smooth glide. We had a substantial gap to fill between pocket sides and narrower door thickness. This hardware had ample room to adjust and easily spanned the gap for a smooth snug fit.

Easy to install and should work without fail for the lifetime of the door.I did end up using different screws, but that's not a big deal to me. You may find it similarly necessary to use longer screws.

Looked long and hard to find glides for my pocket doors that could be mounted on door jamb. Liked that these were pretty unnoticeable. Sadly, within first week of use one of them broke when the door hit it.

Bought these because I mislaid the ones that came with the pocket door installation kit, as it was a couple of years between installing the door and finishing the casing. These are slightly bigger which means they fit deeper into the opening and will guide the door better when it is completely retracted into the wall.

Did the trick! My pocket doors were always coming off until I put this in. I installed it myself. Pretty easy.
