My house was built in 1975 and included a pocket door from the breakfast room to the utility room. This door gets a lot of use and after around 35 years of heavy use, the rollers failed and started making a terrible racket. After a great deal of research, I found these rollers on Amazon and they have now been installed and work perfectly. They were not easy to install, it took an experienced serviceman around two hours to install them. After my experience with these rollers, I'm very happy I didn't try to install them myself. They are installed now and have made the old pocket door operate like new!

I bought these to replace my 33 year-old original rollers which were ALL metal (steel, NOT zinc). These plastic ones are trashed now after only two weeks or so. They are literally coming apart at the bearings and the wheels are tilted out. Now the door has to be removed again, and new rollers installed. What a PAIN!!! These plastic and zinc (NOT STEEL) rollers would only be possibly acceptable for a VERY small and very, very light door (less than 10 pounds) with almost NO use. My doors weigh 42.2lbs which is far less than HALF of the 100lbs what they claim. If any of the above recommendations aren't obeyed, you WILL be replacing it again and again and again. Look at the picture and see how the cheap/crappy design allowed the bearings assembly center to bend and the bearings begin to fall out out after only a couple of weeks. Save yourself the trouble ... if you can get access to remove/replace the wheel track, spend the money and get an all-metal version with four wheels and actual steel construction. A perfect example of a good American-made product being outsourced to China ... utter trash.

I have a large house with multiple pocket doors that use this style roller assembly. As they wear out I slowly bought one at a time over a 5 year period. At first they fit perfectly and did the job great. Sometime around 2022, I can only assume that the manufacturer changed the wheels they used because the new wheels are about 1 cm larger in diameter than the old ones and no longer spin freely when installed. So far I can fit them in the track, but they do not operate well. I'm hoping the wheels wear down some and lose some of their circumference so that they aren't being pushed through the tracks and can begin rolling. Unable to find a better replacement at this time.

After close examination of a nonworking pocket door in my daughter’s home I was able to match the problematic roller to this one listed on Amazon. It made the door work like new again. Followed it up with a nylon lower door guide and it works like new again!

My old sliding thing (no idea what to call it) was old and broke off so I needed to replace it.It took less than 5 min. It fit the old bracket that is screwed into the door so was super simple. Slide better than ever.

Perhaps one of the most annoying home repairs. Pocket doors save a lot of space, but they are prone to breaking and it’s a pain to repair them.I had to repair two doors, and originally went to Lowe’s for the parts. For the first door, the parts I purchased were factory damaged and had to be exchanged, so I’m wondering how long they will last until they need to be replaced again? For the second door, I found that Amazon was selling the part for $10 less, so I bought the parts for that repair here.

Didn't fit, also poor quality and way over-priced, I thought i was getting a pair of rollers, but there's only one. Don't waste your money.
